Emerging Kitchen and Bathroom Trends in 2023

They say that the kitchen is the heart of the home and that your bathroom should be a relaxation outlet. And I couldn’t agree more! The recent Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has come out with some trends that are sure to live up to these beliefs and that you just might start to see in kitchens and baths this coming year!

Workstations in Kitchen Sinks - Lots of brands are carrying workstation style sinks that are farmhouse or deep sinks with inserts that rest on the top edge of the undermounted sink. They save space in the kitchen by combining tasks all at the kitchen sink! You can chop, rinse, strain…the possibilities are endless!

Soft Modern Style - This new style is emerging with rounding edges that were typically square and having more curved details. Faucets, especially for the kitchen sink, are having a more u-shaped design.

Industrial Style - This style is showing up more and more in faucet fixtures. Handles are textured and industrial inspired in different finishes of nickel, chrome and steel. Kitchen faucets are smaller versions of the larger commercial style ones that have spring style necks and can boost water quickly and more accurately to the task at hand.

Versatile Indoor and Outdoor Materials - From the pandemic, many people took to spent both indoors and outdoors of their home. Many surface manufactures have taken to developing a surface that is able to be used both inside and outside while being stylish and durable.

Dramatic Stone - White and neutral base stone for countertops and bathrooms still remains popular, but the veining and patterns of the stone seem to be getting more bold and dramatic.

Larger veining patterns create a bold and dramatic appearance.

Spa like Bathrooms - The pandemic has also created the need for people to have a wellness type usage and look to their bathrooms. Temperature controls, steam showers with therapeutic options such as aromatherapy and steam controls are just some of the features And as a bonus, some manufacturers are even offering audio controls through an app where you can listen to your favorite tunes while in the shower!

These are just some of the things we will see more of in 2023!
